We would like to thank Crafty Ales & Lagers for supporting us on Big Brew Day 2017! Crafty’s was very generous to allow us to brew at their location, supplied the club with the grains and some of the hops for our four batches of beer! Thank you Crafty’s!

Do you have questions about home brewing? Are you interested in learning about home brewing? Not sure where to begin? Come join us at Crafty Ales and Lagers this Saturday morning at 8:00am (5/6/17). Members of FLxFL will be there making 20 gallons of a delicious IPA. We will be there brewing and answering questions anyone may have about home brewing!
We will be brewing out back in the patio area of Crafty’s. Crafty’s will be opening at 1pm for you to enjoy a pint and/or get a growler filled for later. Support your local brewery and shop local!

First off let’s congratulate Scott for winning the “Iron Brew” competition and all of the other members who participated and judged! Who knew you could make an IPA with crabs and Simcoe hops?
Mojo Java Brew Day is scheduled for this Saturday, March 18th 2017. Start time is 7-7:30am at Crafty Ales & Lagers.
April’s meeting is scheduled for 4/20/17 and the location is TBD right now. Stay tuned for future updates.
“Big Brew for National Homebrew Day” at Crafty Ales & Lagers is scheduled for 5/6/17. We are looking at brewing the “Rushmore IPA” but scaling the recipe to a 20 gallon batch with the various equipment club members have. More details to come as we get closer to May.

Geneva’s Beer Week 2017 is scheduled for April 17th – 23rd. More information can be found on their Facebook page. NOTE – For the homebrew competition at Geneva’s Beer Week only “Browns” and “Stouts” will be accepted.
